The Quarry at Galloway

Rock and limestone excavated in the Galloway area has helped Springfield and the rest of the United States grow and develop over the last 100 years. Local architectural landmarks such as the historic Drury College Stone Chapel and St. John’s Episcopal Church were even built with limestone from the Quarry in Galloway.
